![]() Julia is a Director at B2B International and is head of our North American operations. She has a Masters from the University of Oxford having studied French and German, and a Masters in Marketing from the University of Durham. She joined B2B International in the UK as an International Research Executive after having lived and worked in France and Germany, and having pursued a career in research for the media. Julia’s role at B2B International involves directing projects on both a national and international scale. She has worked in all stages of market research, from conducting face-to-face and teledepth interviews with senior business people, to moderating face-to-face and online focus groups and carrying out in-depth desk research and data analysis (qualitative and quantitative). The projects Julia has managed indicate the wide range of industries in which she has conducted market research, and her recent clients include Air Products, Ansell, Dow, Gillette, International Paper, JohnsonDiversey, MasterCard, McCann Erickson, Michelin, SCA, Shell and Tyco. Julia has written widely on market research subjects. Her white papers include Measuring & Maximizing The ROI of Market Research and Using Market Research for Product Development. She has also written an e-book called Effective Marketing Strategies for a Recession. In addition, Julia has spoken as a guest speaker in a webinar series for the Canadian Marketing Research and Intelligence Association. Outside of work, Julia is a cellist and has performed as a soloist, orchestral and ensemble player. She has an artistic flair ranging from composing music of all kinds to interior design, and enjoys international film and cinema and a variety of sports. Her love of languages has resulted in considerable travel across Europe, which has been beneficial to her role at B2B. |
