Our History, Mission & Culture

We started as a family-run company, having been set up by father and son team Paul and Nick Hague in 1998. Since the very beginning, our mission has been to provide world-class insights to leading B2B brands, empowering them to make decisions with confidence.

When we started as a company over twenty years ago, B2B markets sat very much on the periphery of research circles. Those who attempt to research industrial and commercial markets do so through the lens of consumer research experience. We flipped the narrative and decided to focus on B2B.

In the early years, we even had to explain to many people what the term “B2B” actually meant. Today, we have established ourselves as the largest B2B specialist research firm in the world. Quite simply, we have carried out more business-to-business market research studies than any other company in the world – ever.

Following the union with four other world-class agencies to become the Merkle B2B group, we have transformed the B2B landscape by creating “the B2B agency of the future”; providing the world’s first end-to-end, integrated B2B solution for the world’s most iconic businesses across all sectors.
