Every year, we recruit new or recent graduates to our international market research management programme with a view to fast-tracking them towards management positions within B2B International.

You will be provided with specific objectives for each module and be guided by a mentor (one of B2B International’s directors).

Senior Research Executive or Research Manager


Based London or Manchester


What we are looking for:

We are seeking an experienced Research Manager or Senior Research Executive to join our research team in either central London or Manchester.

The role is hands-on, and involves all aspects of market research – both quantitative and qualitative. The successful candidate will be ambitious and eager to play a leading role in the future development of B2B International. The candidate will work on, and will manage, a wide range of different research project types in multiple industry sectors.

Previous experience in research is a must, preferably in the B2B space. Agency-side experience is a significant advantage. This is a client-facing role and the ability to liaise with clients and manage teams is essential.

We are looking for someone who can demonstrate extensive experience on a range of different projects, preferably to include at least one of the following:

  • Customer satisfaction/loyalty
  • Brand studies
  • Customer segmentation
  • Market assessment
  • New product/concept development

Key elements of the role include:

  • Qualitative & quantitative data analysis
  • Project management skills
  • Designing questionnaires
  • Designing research projects from client briefs
  • Proposal writing
  • Enquiry handling by phone or in person
  • Constructing presentations, and managing analysis programmes
  • Presentation skills

We would also expect:

  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • A strategic thinker
  • Ability to co-ordinate and manage a team on projects
  • Excellent organisation and workload management skills
  • Strong numerical ability
  • Usual IT skills (PPT, Word, Excel)

Desirable (but not essential):

  • B2B research experience
  • Experience of focus group moderation and analysis of qualitative data
  • Statistics skills / experience using a stats package e.g. SPSS
  • Experience in specialist research skills such as CONJOINT, SIMALTO, pricing studies, etc.
  • Experience in social media listening/tracking
  • Experience in big data analytics
  • Data visualisation skills
  • Experience using CRM systems such as SalesForce
  • Business development experience
