Survey Programmer/Data Analyst


Full time, permanent


Based Manchester, UK, or Düsseldorf, Germany


Global business-to-business market research specialist B2B International is currently seeking experienced Survey Programmer/Data Analysts to strengthen its teams in both Manchester and Düsseldorf. This is a complex role which involves: the set-up, scripting/programming, testing and running of reports, for online surveys (both PC and mobile-responsive); the handling of large datasets and the performance of complex analytical tasks; and the development of multifunctional simulators consisting of statistical analysis and logical settings for clients. All tasks are performed within the business-to-business arena.

Essential skills:

  • Degree or equivalent (upper second class or higher)
  • A strong and demonstrable understanding of the market research industry, ideally to include experience working within a research agency
  • Programming experience
  • Experience of scripting online surveys, including routing and masking questions
  • Experience of survey testing
  • Experience of handling large datasets
  • Experience in monitoring dashboards
  • Advanced knowledge of at least one of the following scripting tools:
    • Confirmit/Nebu/Askia
  • Advanced knowledge of the following programming languages:
    • CSS/HTML/ JavaScript/Jscript
  • Advanced knowledge of the following analytical tools:
    • Excel (specifically filters, pivot tables, vlookups, countifs, macros, “What-if” add-in)
  • Good working knowledge of identifying fraudulent survey respondents
  • Good knowledge of statistics principles and their applications

Research Manager


Based White Plains, NY


B2B International is a leading global market research firm. We carry out a range of business-to-business market research projects including customer satisfaction, product development, branding, advertising and communications testing, and more. Our clients include a number of the largest and most well-known organizations in the world, such as Microsoft, Samsung, BP, Stanley Black & Decker, MasterCard, etc.

We require a proven market research manager to join our White Plains, NY office. The role is hands-on, involving all aspects of market research. The successful candidate will be ambitious and eager to play a leading role in the development of our company.

Job Requirements

Key skills and qualifications include:

  • Previous experience in the market research industry
  • Experience in taking client/potential client inquiries and proposal writing
  • Strong writing and analytical skills, including the ability to convert quantitative and qualitative data into a client presentation with little or no assistance

Research Manager / Research Director


Based Düsseldorf, Germany


We require an experienced market research manager or research director to join our small but busy team in central Düsseldorf. Candidates should possess fluent written/spoken German, with professional proficiency in English also a prerequisite.

This is a hands-on role involving all aspects of market research across different sectors, including: customer satisfaction/loyalty studies; branding studies; customer segmentation research; market assessment studies; and new product/concept development research.

Previous experience in the b2b market research arena is desirable and agency-side experience a significant advantage. This is a client-facing role and the ability to win in new business and manage ongoing client relationships is crucial.
