As a Research Manager, I work with clients in translating their company’s business objectives into well-defined research objectives that will ultimately lead to actionable intelligence. I work closely with our clients and the wider B2B International team throughout the whole research process, from project scoping to questionnaire design to fieldwork through to analysis and the final presentation of the deliverables.
What is the best thing about working at B2B International?
Researching business-to-business markets is challenging and rewarding at the same time. I would say the best part of working at B2B International is having the opportunity to be a part of a stellar research team and being able to make a positive impact for our clients’ business.
What is the best advice you have ever been given?
I could sum up the best advice ever given to me with this quote: “If you’re the smartest person in the room, you’re in the wrong room.” I have an appetite for learning new things and becoming better at what I do each day. I try to surround myself with people that I can always learn more from, become inspired by, and share in their experiences.
What is your favourite place you have visited – and why?
Any beach with white sand, clear blue sea water, and a tropical breeze.
What is your favourite book?
It’s difficult to come up with just one book as a favourite. I enjoy reading anything that is thought provoking, inspiring, and leads to better performance in work and personal affairs. The one book that stands out at the moment is Jim Collins’, Good To Great.
What is your favourite pastime?
I really enjoy any athletic activity, from something as relaxing as golf to as intense as martial arts. Sports are a great way to stay competitive, relieve stress, and feel good about yourself (unless you slice your drive onto the next fairway!).
