Online Research Continues To Grow

Online Research

In 2006, global spending for all forms of Internet research is expected to have reached $2.4 billion, reports Inside Research. This forecast represents a growth of 19%, only marginally lower than the 25% increase in 2005. While the US online market research segment growth will increase more slowly at 14%, Europe will grow faster at 27% and Japan, nearly as large as European spending, is expected to surge 36%.
Also growing rapidly is online advertising, audience and traffic research, which will increase 24% after stalling in early 2000’s when the internet bubble burst.
