Matthew Cummings

Matt graduated from the Manchester Metropolitan University with a BSc (Hons) Computer Science degree and has recently joined B2B International as the IT Operations Supervisor within the Manchester Phone Unit. Prior to university, Matt lived in Germany and worked as a regional radio news and information reporter for the British Forces before taking the leap back into education at the age of 23.

Having a keen interest in all things Computing and IT, Matt can now be found tucked behind a desk putting his programming skills to the test scripting CATI surveys. He also plays a key role in ensuring that the Phone Unit is working to its maximum capability with the goal of increasing productivity and efficiency, and changes he has instigated have already had a positive impact on existing systems.

Matt is a keen traveller having visited most of Europe, parts of Asia and spent a year backpacking around Australia on a Working Holiday Visa. More recently whilst a student, he spent the past few summers living and working in Seattle, USA where he surprised himself with how good he was at car sales (the accent could have something to do with it!).

In 2008, after living in Germany for 20 years, Matt fulfilled a lifelong ambition to become a season ticket holder at Manchester City Football Club and can be found cheering on his beloved Blues most weekends. Outside of work, Matt is a keen sportsman who plays football, rugby and squash but has yet to be bitten by the B2B running bug!
