Home > Branding >Which Brands Have People Been Discussing This Week?

Last week saw some interesting developments for two very different brands. Firstly, there was the announcement that €˜”brand Beckham€™” is to be unleashed onto the US market. The move makes Beckham the highest paid sports personality by a long, long way on almost £500,000 a week.

The other big news was the announcement of Apple’€™s new iPhone. As if this announcement wasn’€™t enough to create a stir on the ˜blogosphere€™, the furore that followed when Cisco Systems revealed it had filed a lawsuit against Apple for using the iPhone brand (which is owned by Cisco), meant that the buzz around the story was boosted to no end. As they say, (and as the chart below shows) €œthere’€™s no such thing as bad publicity. Using the ever-present news items relating to Iraq as a measure, the chart shows what people have been talking about this week on the blogosphere.

Testimonials

B2B had to be very flexible and adapt fast while working with us. The execution in different markets is not easy to do as well as gathering all the necessary information. With their report we went further than the normal/expected reporting of qualitative research. My internal customers are also very happy with the work carried out by B2B International.

I can honestly say that I thought the quality of the research and the scope of the final presentation was excellent and much better than any other study we have commissioned.
