As Analytics and Innovation Manager, I’m flexible, but I have a particular affinity for quantitative studies and statistical methods. This comes from my background in mathematics and my interest in problem solving.

What is the best thing about working at B2B International?

Sometimes a client asks a question after a survey has been completed and the answer isn’t obvious from the questions asked. I enjoy the challenge of working with the data we have to give the best answers possible.

What is the best advice you have ever been given?

Never underestimate the power of human stupidity.

What is your favourite place you have visited – and why?

I went on a trip to Iceland which I really enjoyed. The geology and wildlife there are both fascinating. I’d like to go there again when I have a bit longer as I didn’t manage to get up onto the glaciers last time.

What is your favourite book?

I read a lot of science fiction and fantasy novels but my favourite would have to be Dune. The scope of the world created, the imagination that went into its construction and the depth of personality displayed by its characters; in every way it’s outstanding.

What is your favourite pastime?

I enjoy reading, crosswords, Go (a Japanese strategic board game) and cycling, but my favourite pastime is badminton; I play once a week at a local club. It’s a game with subtle strategy combined with explosive speed, perfect for unwinding after a long day at work.
